Children with Additional Needs

At Roxmead Nursery we have a huge range of experience with children with additional needs. All our staff and settings are able to accommodate a wide range of additional needs that children have. We have experience with children with Down syndrome, physical disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, hearing impairments and wide range of other needs. Our staff have been trained and experienced in using PECS, hoist trained and specifically trained in Speech and Language Development including Elklan training.

We pride ourselves in delivering a curriculum that is inclusive for all children and develops all children's needs and capabilities. 

We are one of Harrow's named settings for children with Developmental Language Disorder, we work closely with the Speech and Language Therapy service in Harrow.
